Mayor David Miller Honours Drug Free Marshals

The newly re-elected Mayor of Toronto, David Miller, has sent a letter of congratulations to the Drug-Free Marshals on behalf of Toronto City Council for their upcoming annual Drug-Free Christmas Festival, this year to be held at Toronto City Hall.

Mayor Miller states "The Drug-Free Marshals is a youth-driven initiative sponsored by the Church of Scientology of Toronto. Here, thousands of young people are encouraged to be drug-free, supported and encouraged to explore their potential and are educated and empowered to live fulfilling and meaningful lives...I want to thank you all for your support toward this goal, it is deeply appreciated."

2006 marks the 18th year of the annual Drug-Free Marshals Christmas Festival, making it one of the longest consecutive running community festivals in Toronto. To download a copy of the letter, go here.
